Over the last three decades plus, we’ve been recognized, within the tennis community, for the wealth of top rated players who call The Lauderdale Tennis Club home. Perhaps the most celebrated is Harold Solomon, who’s world famous Harold Solomon Tennis Institute makes it’s home here and where some of today’s top tour players such as Elaina Dementiava come seeking Harold’s advice and where many of the most promising young juniors, from around the world are groomed for college scholarships and / or the ATP and WTA Tours. Harold has coached top tour players Mary Jo Fernandez, Jennifer Capriati, Monica Seles, Anna Kournikova Jim Courier and Lisa Raymond among others. Here at The Solomon Tennis Institute, Harold partners with standout former University of Florida women’s coach, Andy Brandi. Harold is ranked among the United States" greatest all-time players, Harold won 22 ATP Tour events, qualified for six ATP year-end tour championships, was a member of two winning US Davis Cup teams, and is one of a select group of American players to reach the finals at the French Open.
