Cindy Leprevost has been a resident of the Lauderdale Tennis Club since 2002 and was tennis director for LTC from 2000 through 2003, running a full calendar of events for members and their guests. She is co-creator of newtennis.com, a website dedicated to reaching one’s potential in tennis and to maintaining a healthy lifestyle physically and mentally. She has been a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association since 1991, and is certified with a Professional 1 rating. Cindy has coached St. Marks Episcopal School’s coed tennis team for 9 years conducting practices and home matches at the Lauderdale Tennis Club from March – May.
Cindy’s love and dedication to the game is obvious by her demeanor in teaching and in playing tennis. She is a fierce competitor, but was also named “Sportswoman of the Year” in 1998 for her accomplishments in the Les Grande Dames Tournament Series. In 1998, she was also named “Player of the Year” at the USTA Florida Annual Meeting. Cindy has captained the Florida Intersectional Team for many years, usually coming home with a National Team Championship.
